Biography:
KJ Apa was born on 17 June 1997 in Auckland, New Zealand. After high school, he decided to pursue a career in acting. He made his television debut back in New Zealand on the show Shortland Street as part of the main cast. He played the role of Kane Jenkins on the series from 2013 to 2015.
Afterwards, he appeared in six episodes of the show The Cul De Sac. He ventured into Hollywood and landed a starring role, playing the teen Ethan Montgomery in the 2017 movie A Dog’s Purpose. He also successfully auditioned for the role of the lead, Archie Andrews, on the new TV series Riverdale. He will star in the upcoming movie Altar Rock.
