Eric “Rick” Froberg, a carefully prepared San Diego performer and visual craftsman most popular for his work as the guitarist and lead singer with the band Drive Like Jehu, has died, as indicated by a bandmate. He was 55 years of age at the hour of his demise.
As per guitarist John Reis’ Instagram post from the previous evening (Friday), Rick died startlingly from regular causes. “His specialty improved life. The main thing he cherished more than craftsmanship and rock n roll was his companions. He will always be associated with his imagination, vision, and his capacity to bring excellence into this world. I love you, Rick. I will miss you until the end of my life.”
Who was Rick Froberg?
Rick Froberg was an American performer, vocalist, and visual craftsman. He was born in Encinitas, California, on February 20, 1968. Froberg was generally referred to for his commitments as an entertainer and lyricist for different significant musical crews.
Drive Like Jehu, a huge post-no-nonsense band established in San Diego in 1990, was one of Froberg’s underlying conspicuous undertakings. “Yank Wrongdoing” (1994) and “Drive Like Jehu” (1991) are two profoundly adulated collections that were delivered by Drive Like Jehu. The band’s music, which integrated punk, post-bad-to-the-bone, and elective stone components, was recognized by its many-sided guitar playing, muddled rhythms, and intense vocals.
