Tom Hiddleston was born on February 9, 1981 in Westminster, London, England, UK. He attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art where he graduated in 2005.

In 2008, he landed his first big-screen role, playing Oakley in Joanna Hogg’s debut film Unrelated. He went on to play the lead role in Joanna Hogg’s second film, Archipelago.

He became best known for his role as Loki in Marvel Studios 2011 film, Thor. He reprised his role in The Avengers and Thor: The Dark World.

He has also appeared in other films such as Midnight in Paris, War Horse, The Deep Blue Sea, and Only Lovers Left Alive.
