Season 31 of ‘The Amazing Race’ premiered on CBS on April 17, 2019, although the show was filmed throughout the summer of 2018. This teams on this season ALL came from the CBS Shows ‘Survivor,’ ‘Big Brother,’ and past seasons of ‘The Amazing Race.’ The competition started with 11 teams: Five from ‘Amazing Race,’ three from ‘Survivor’ and three from ‘Big Brother.’ By the finale, three ‘Amazing Race’ teams were left, with one ‘Big Brother’ team also in the running. The players traveled all over the world to countries like Japan, Vietnam, Uganda, Switzerland and more. Throughout the competition, they had to complete different challenges and tasks in order to move forward in the competition.
