‘Maleficent: Mistress of Evil’
‘Maleficent: Mistress of Evil’ is the highly-anticipated sequel to the 2014 Disney film ‘Maleficent.’ Angelina Jolie returns as the one and only Maleficent. Elle Fanning also returns as Princess Aurora, along with Sam Riley, Imelda Staunton, Juno Temple, and Lesley Manville. Michelle Pfeiffer joins the cast as the formidable Queen Ingrith, along with Harris Dickinson’s Prince Phillip. He is taking over the role from Brenton Thwaites, who was unable to return for the sequel. Chiwetel Ejiofor and Ed Skrein also star. The sequel takes place 5 years following King Stefan’s death. Aurora has reigned as Queen of the Moors, maintaining order among the fairies and woodland creatures. Aurora and Phillip become engaged. When they seek to bring their families together, that’s when Maleficent and Ingrith come face-to-face. Maleficent meets new allies and faces new enemies on this newest journey.
