Biography:

Laura Vandervoort was born on September 22, 1984 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She first took acting classes and did background work in the Canadian shows Road to Avonlea and Harriet the Spy before she appeared in Goosebumps.

She has since starred in other television shows such as Are You Afraid of the Dark?, Twice in a Lifetime, Mutant X and became known for her role as Sadie Harrison in Instant Star.

She has also starred in several films including Into the Blue 2: The Reef, This Means War and Ted. She then continued to star in such shows as Smallville, White Collar, Haven and CSI: NY.
