Dean Geyer is a South African Australian actor. He started his career as a singer when he joined Australian Idol in 2006. Afterwards, he pursued acting in Australia, starring as Ty Harper on the long-running soap opera Neighbours. He then made his movie debut in the American film Never Back Down 2: The Beatdown. He also became known for his role as Mark Reynolds on the US series Terra Nova. Afterwards, he became further known for playing Brody Weston on Glee. Since 2015, he’s been playing the recurring part of Nick Davis on the TV series Shades of Blue. He’s also starred in a couple of low-budget films. As a singer, he’s released his debut album Rush in 2007.
